Nationally Recognized for Program Excellence
We’re proud to announce that STEM Heroes Academy has achieved accreditation from the International Association for Continuing Education & Training (IACET) a mark of distinction that reflects our unwavering commitment to delivering top-tier STEM learning experiences outside the traditional school day.

1
What This Accreditation Means
When you choose STEM Heroes Academy for your child’s enrichment, you’re selecting a program-based accreditation that confirms we adhere to rigorous national standards in curriculum design, instructional delivery, learner assessment, and continual improvement.
This is different from a K–12 or college institutional accreditation. It’s a program-quality assurance accreditation, specifically suited to organizations like ours that specialize in after-school, weekend, and summer STEM programs, rather than a full credential-granting school.
2
Why It Matters for Your Child
-
Proven learning quality. Our organization has been independently reviewed and certified to meet strict benchmarks for effectiveness and educational integrity.
-
Focused on excellence. We go beyond “fun and games” to ensure students engage in meaningful, measurable STEM learning—think inquiry, problem solving, collaboration, and real-world application.
-
Continuous improvement. Accreditation isn’t a one-and-done badge; it means we commit to ongoing evaluation and refinement of our programs for the benefit of every student.
-
Visible trust. This accreditation gives you added confidence that the enrichment time your child invests has been held to nationally respected standards.

How Did We Earn This Recognition?
Earning accreditation from the International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET) was no small feat. The process is built around the ANSI/IACET Standard for Continuing Education and Training — a nationally recognized benchmark that defines excellence in educational program design and delivery.
To achieve this accreditation, STEM Heroes Academy underwent a rigorous review process that included:
-
Comprehensive evaluation of our curriculum design, instructional practices, and learner experience
-
Submission of detailed documentation and evidence showing how we engage students in meaningful, structured STEM learning
-
Independent review by IACET evaluators to verify full alignment with the ANSI/IACET Standard
-
A commitment to continuous improvement, ensuring we regularly assess and enhance our programs for long-term quality and impact
We are proud to have met — and exceeded — these national standards, becoming one of the very few after-school STEM academies to achieve this level of recognition for educational excellence.
4
Why It’s Different From Traditional School Accreditation
-
Traditional school accreditation (e.g. WASC) applies to institutions that issue official grades, transcripts and may grant diplomas (e.g., K-12 or colleges).
-
Our accreditation from IACET applies to programs and training organizations, not to becoming a fully accredited school.
-
Because STEM Heroes Academy is an extracurricular provider, traditional school accreditation simply doesn’t apply—but our IACET recognition is one of the highest standards available to a program like ours.
